After graduating from The Academy of Art College in San Francisco, Peter started a successful freelance career.  Working from his San Francisco studio, he has refined his craft over many years.  Using a delicate touch with his pen and ink engraving technique, Peter adds a subtle sense of colors to create a style which has been considered classic, yet contemporary.  Designer Rick Tharp describes his work as having a "lyrical quality which is at the same time technically precise."  Although he is known for his map and logo landscape illustrations, he enjoys doing a variety of subjects such as figures, conceptual, food/products, wild life/animals, icons and calligraphy. Peter's award winning artwork has been selected by the New York Society of Illustrators.  Prints' Design Annual and most recently AR100's Annual, where his work was selected as one of the best annual report illustrations.
